"Nice spot to stay, food was great, however had a bit of a challenge with the room. And calling down to the desk was impossible no one ever a stand our shower was plugged. Finally was fixed at the end of the third day. Nice hotel just felt the service didn't quite hit what I was expecting for the type and style of holtel."

"I stayed at Hollies Halifax for 5 days. We arrived late the first day (Wednesday) and was told AC broken for the hotel. We stayed on the 9th floor ... flat roof with a day temperature of 30C. A hot stuffy room was our welcome! No windows at all. We requested a fan,. the fan was very loud with a broken nob that we cannot adjust. We had no choice but utilize the fan for air, but the fan was so noisy we cannot hear the TV. AC was restored on Friday! Aside from the fan issues, we like the...

"The wait time time for the elevator. Same elevator for guess and staff for 16 floors. The wait time was ridiculously long"

"The staff were incredibly nice and even upgraded our room. The downside was that the tub was dirty. My partner had to clean it before taking a bath. The Kleenex dispenser was empty. The room was very outdated. This was my second time staying at this hotel and unfortunately the last."

It seemed to be a favorite spot to eat for the community also. The price was very reasonable and the Inn was centrally located close to all attractions."

"Tap water was hot and night and no way to get cold water. Not very good when you want to have a glass of water. TV super complicated to open, never saw that before."

"Positive experience, it is as advertised, beds are half decent, had a small tv that got 20-25 channels so thats decent too, was very clean and was a good spot to rest and relax, so definitely recommend it, cost is alot cheaper than surrounding area hotels/motels and overall everything was pretty good"
