It was an old hotel but clean. We even have a big window with the view. Steps away from the stations, the morning market and lots of stores and dining around. We will stay here again.

Great location

Great location. Close to JR and tram station. Ir takes 5 min walking to the morning market where you can find seafood till 2 PM. Breakfast on the 10th floor is very nice, many variety of food. Hotel staffs are very helpful.

The first floor lounge featured many free drinks (soft drinks, coffee, etc) and was a nice place to sit and do research for our travels. The hotel is easy walking distance to the seaside markets/restaurants.

Close to JR Hakodate station and tram at front door too. Comfortable bed, good laundry and guest area. However walls are thin so I could hear my next door neighbours and the hotel music playing in the hallway can also be heard in the room. Otherwise good value hotel in Hakodate.

The hotel was excellent. They provided everything we needed. We played Ping Pong and Pool table during stay. Location was great. Just 3-5 mins from JR station. The staff were helpful and very polite. We had great time in this hotel.

The Hotel Resol is very close to the Hakodate train station, several restaurants, and convenience stores, and one of the many street car stops this city is known for. From my room, I could see the famous Tomoe bridge and Train Ferry Memorial Museum but I'm sure rooms higher up than mine had an even more beautiful view. To the south of the property is the gorgeous Mt. Hakodate, and if you're the kind of person who can easily walk 2 kilometers or so, the ropeway that takes travelers to the top of that mountain is more or less at the end of the street, and well worth the walk. The room was spacious for what I paid, and very clean. The staff were also very friendly, letting me check in a little bit earlier than the posted check in time. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I have the opportunity to visit the area.

Very close to station. Well maintained. Good size room, bathroom a bit small & congested. Since its close to winter, no AC-a bit warm. Had to keep the windows open & loud street noise. Staff well prepared. Great coffee & tea area. 2nd floor sports & gym area was never open. Laundry facililty was very good. Great experience. Easy walking distance to all the food by Morning market and ramen/izakaya restaurants away from the station. Great location!!

The hotel is conveniently located to Hakodate train station as well as the tram stop. Breakfast was excellent even if limited options. The juices were fresh and rich tasting. There were unexpected seafood options such as grilled scallops on my first morning and tuna (maguro) sashimi on my second morning in addition to other Japanese breakfast staples. What was surprising was that sake (!) and ice cream was also available. I would have given the hotel a 5 stars rating if not for the fact the bed had ONE pillow! The first time ever staying at a hotel that did not provide two even if there was only one guest.

The rooms are normally small as most Japanese hotels. Not far from JR Hakodate station,within walking range to most spots and shopping. The BF was very great,we enjoyed Japanese style Seafood breakfast so much.
