"My wife and I spent 1 night on board of the grand pioneer 2 (February 25, 2026) . Perfect luxury room ( super clean, panoramic view of Ha Long Bay, fantastic food ( brunch with variety choices ) with à la carte menu for supper). Super nice staff. Very reasonable price including all meals with 2 land excursions. Strongly recommend. Pioneers cruise 3 will be launched within the next 18 months. Can’t wait to come back for a 2 nights cruise. Only one downside : February and March weather in Ha long...

"Room is clean, however they should have mirrors in bed room beside the one in bathroom! It’s not convenient for two people! Foods all delicious and clean! I love the most of staff especially the young gentleman Peter Hien, he is so generous kindness polite and awesome customer service! "

"Ett intressant område, vacker natur, väldig enkel by, en upplevelse, men räckte med 2 dagar. Rummen luktade lite fuktskador, men skönt med AC. Väldig hård säng men sköna kuddar. Badrummet var fräscht. Trädgården och miljön väldig vacker. Gamla något ofräscha dukar på matborden men det kanske hör till lite i det enkla. Supermysig och bra personal, Hai var underbar - hjälpsam och snabb att assistera. Enkla och goda middagar. Härligt med ärligheten kring öppen bar och skriva upp det man...

"Staff were great and very helpful. Room could have been better and No TV. Is not close to town which is fine but it forces you to rent a bike to get around or get a cab. Overall experience, good. "

"Great room /facility and great food"

"They took our food alergies but did nothing with it nor did they make any alterations or amendments to accommodate the lack of food options for those who could not eat from their regular menu. I am alergic to seafood and half their options included seafood. The buffet lunch was fine but the set dinner menu had 60% seafood. Employees on board were kind and courteous and were one of the bright sides on the cruise however for an overnight cruise they lack fun activities to keep you entertained in...
