The staff were friendly and the meals provided were delicious with generous amount of servings. We did the 2 day cruise and was ideal as we had ample time for both relaxation and activities. The weather was perfect during this time of the year ( January).

We were upgraded to the amazing owner’s suite, the staff paid attention to every single detail during our stay and we had so much fun during the several activities planned! Food was great too. Special shut out to Jim, Tom and Telly!

Fabulous boat cruise

Fabulous boat ride and stay in Hal long Bay, Vietnam. The food was amazing. The staff couldn’t have been better. It was just a wonderful trip all the way around. The cooking class was fun too! Loved the trip!

Excellent cruise from start to finish! The staff are amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially Chris. Great selection of food, lovely rooms and spaces to enjoy the sunset and Halong Bay views. Water slide is great fun too!

My friend and I did a 3D2N stay on the Capella Cruise and they certainly didn’t disappoint! Their service was excellent throughout our stay, and we’d love to give special mentions to Tom (Cruise Manager), Tracy, Anna, the gentleman at the reception and cooking demo (forgot his name, sorry!), Ahn from the F&B crew, and the boys at squid fishing. What truly stood out was when I left my backpack at the pier and only realized it after arriving in Hanoi. I was panicking, but their customer service team responded promptly and kept me updated until my backpack arrived safely at my hotel reception. I’m so grateful for their help! Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the Capella crew and hope to be back again!

The service was amazing, Special mention to Chris and Alex who knew us by name, and were very welcoming every time we met. The Vietnamese tea service hosted by Alex was a great experience and very insightful. Also Mr Bing playing modern songs on traditional Vietnamese instruments whilst having dinner, was great to hear and really made the experience all the better.

We had a wonderful time at Capella cruise. The staaf was very friendly, room was great and food delicious. My son loved the waterslide. In particular I would like to thanks crew members Stefan and Quyet, the went above and beyond to recover an item we left behind it and get it shipped to our hotel in Saigon, very much appreciated. Can strongly recommend Capella Cruise.

I felt this cruise line was the best one on Ha Long Bay! They paid attention to detail and were very professional. The staff, the service, the safety was top quality!! They made sure everything we did we were safe. The food was delicious and fresh, the room was wow! Views were amazing. The BEST!!

Capella Cruise was the highlight of our honeymoon! If I could put 10 stars for staff and service I would. Even though the weather was not the most ideal, we enjoyed and felt so special during our stay. The room was clean and the views of the bay OMG, it felt like out of a movie. The crew decorated our room with petals and a bottle for the arrival (we ordered it in advance), and extra services such a private romantic dinner and spa time - all was incredible! Kudos to the crew manager Chris and receptionist/tour guide Gin, you made our experience unforgettable!

Such an awesome experience and we are so glad we chose Capella Cruise over any other boats. It was one of the pricier options but, we were so glad we opted to pay a little more. Food: I am celiac so I have to be very cautious with gluten and the staff were amazing, they always ensured I had plenty of gluten free options and made me seem like I was no bother. The food was good, I’d rate it a 7/10. If you don’t like seafood, definitely inform them prior as they serve a lot of seafood. We enjoyed trying different foods we wouldn’t typically order ourselves. Rooms: The rooms were beautiful! 10/10!!! Excursions: Lots of fun. The tour guides (we had Jin) made it heaps of fun and a great experience. We had a good balance of activities and downtime over the 3 days.

Hands down best part of our Vietnam trip was Capella Cruise. The staff is what made our cruise so enjoyable as they all were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, professional, personable and entertaining. The food was fantastic, squid fishing, kayaking, swimming, slide, was just perfect for my family. We had 3 adults, and 3 kids (10, 12, and 16 years old) and all 6 of us had an absolute blast. We stayed on the 2 night cruise to take advantage of visiting Cat Ba Island and boy were we glad we did. If you do the 1 night cruise, you short yourself on biking in Cat Ba Island through Viet Hai Village. It was so picturesque, serene and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday busy life. We stayed in the Sky Suite which was absolutely perfect. The size, bathroom, balcony bedding was all comfortable and relaxing. I wished I remembered all of the staff’s names, but the ones I do remember are Chris the boat manager, Harry who took us on our swimming on the beach in Cat Ba Island, and Gin who also took us on our bicycle ride along Cat Ba Island. Our restaurant server was also the best! Everyone on the cruise is extremely hard working and they go above and beyond to ensure all passengers have the best time. Highly recommend!

J’ai voyagé à bord du Capella pour une croisière de 3 jours/2 nuits avec mes deux adolescents. Très beau bateau avec plein de trucs à faire pour les enfants. Le personnel est aux petits soins et toujours disponible. La nourriture est aussi très bien. Nous avions une suite familiale qui était grande, propre et très fonctionnelle. Seul bémol, l’arrivée avec la navette du croisiériste était trop tôt et nous avons dû attendre dans un lounge surchauffé avant de rejoindre le bateau. Considérant le niveau de prestation et le prix, ceci mériterait d’être amélioré. Sinon, très belle option pour la visite de la baie d’Ha Long!
