"My husband and I stayed here for two nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel had the spacious and luxurious atmosphere. Staff were kind and room was clean, pleasant and had a beautiful Mountain view. Breakfast buffet selections were very nice and the dining room and the cafe at 9th floor also had a great view. "The manager was very nice and even though he spoke no english, we managed to communicate with him. The area around the hotel was depressed and looked like some of the buildings were closed, almost a boarded up feeling. The beds were hard as a rock, literally. Shower was great. Our big problem was mosquitos in the room. Even though the screens looked fine, mosquitos kept coming in. My daughter had at least 15 bites, many of them on her face from during the night. They buzzed us all night long....

Although the hotel only has a breakfast bar and no other onsite food service, it is an easy walk from a wide variety of foodservice outlets, ranging from coffee shops to fast food to more traditional Korean restaurants. "The hotel seems new or, at the very least, newly remodeled. There is an outdoor pool which is free to use and very kid friendly. A sauna is in the basement, for a small fee, it is small but clean. They allow you to hang out on the rooftop, which is fantastic; it makes for wonderful nighttime views of the skyline. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Sokcho."
