Great Stay

Owner was very helpful and kind. Great location near the beach. Room was comfortable and clean - good AC. Worth staying especially if hiking in Seoraksan because it is right next to the Express bus from Seoul and the local bus to the park picks up outside.

The staff was absolutely the best hotel staff I’ve ever met. Truly over the top great, thoughtful and kind. The facilities were clean and well above what I expected for a small town in Korea. Foreigner-friendly and a comfortable place to not only sleep and get clean, but also hangout.

Not as great as I remembered

Not as great as I remembered but did the job of giving us somewhere warm and dry to stay. We weren't in the main building, which was a little strange, to me. Check in/out was smooth and easy. It was quite magical to wake up and see that it had snowed heavily overnight

Good stay for a couple of nights

When you arrive from Seoul with the express bus, the hostel is located opposite the bus terminal. Right outside the hostel, you'll the take the bus 7 or 7-1 to Seoraksan, around 25 min. Friendly and helpful staff that spoke English. The negative was the hostel room was very small. Good for one person, but too small for two. The beds are quite hard, but it's the same all over Korea. There was good wi-fi in the room. Bathroom with towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower cream. Good AC. A small patio outside the hostel.

Staff were friendly and very helpful, location was wonderful: right by the bus terminal to/from Seoul, on the bus line, next to Sokcho Beach and many restaurants. Easy to get to/from the market.

Great location, directly opposite the bus terminal. At the main road, look opposite and slightly to the right and you can see the hotel. Clean room. English speaking staff.

I just gave up to stay there because it is totally dirty and too much small. Do not believe anything in the photos. It is lower than cheapest motel even in USA. I stayed there around 20 minutes to book another hotel. I think that this accommodation seems a scam

Nothing near you can find from pictures provided. Very very small room. Not able to find a tiny space to open the carry on luggage. Paid for 2 nights, but left tge place after 1 night first thing in the morning

Good stay convienent to bus intercharge

Right opposite the express bus terminal. Easy way to take bus to Seoul. Local bus stop to the national park 1-2 min from hotel door. New and comfortable. If got large baggage best to request for ground floor as no lift available. Need to walk up the stairs. Free Coffee available at basement common shared area. Nice lounge, cooking facilities with utensils available. The fried chicken opposite Pelicana very juicy and tender. BBQ next to hotel, the beef and belly pork nice also. Big emart just 5mins walk away.

The member of staff on the front desk spoke good English. The room was not large, but there was enough storage space for bags. The bathroom was compact and it had an all in one basin and shower unit. The rainfall shower was pretty powerful but the floor remained wet for a while. There were mugs and a hot water machine, but no coffee or tea was provided. It is a shame that there was no breakfast. It is quite expensive for what is offered. The location was really good for local buses to major attractions. The Express Bus Station is opposite, but this is only useful for buses to and from Seoul. Buses to and from other cities may make an inbound stop there but all other outbound intercity buses go from the Intercity Bus Station about 20 minutes away by bus. The hotel has a a variety of restaurants nearby, and the beach is a 5 minute walk away. The only real issue we had with the whole stay were the beds: the most uncomfortable we've ever experienced. Not firm, just hard. With better beds, this would be a more than decent stay and would justify the price.

Unterkunft war gut gelegen gegenüber vom Express Bus Terminal. Zudem fuhr der Bus ein paar Meter weiter los zum Nationalpark. Die „Sehenwürdigkeiten“ von Sokcho waren zu Fuß erreichbar. Auf Grund der mangelnden Sauberkeit der Unterkunft würde ich sie aber nicht weiterempfehlen.

숙소가 깨끗한 편이에요! 특히 화장실 청결을 제일 중요하게 생각하는 1인인데 화장실도 신식의 깨끗한 편이였어요 가격 생각할때 굿입니다!^^뜨거운 물도 아주 잘 나와서 여독을 따뜻한 물에 풀 수 있어서 좋았어용~ 다만 너무 추운날 갔고 제일 끝방이여가지구 보일러를 틀어주시긴하셨는데 추워서 자다가 몇번 깼네요ㅠ(바닥은 뜨끈한데 공기가 차니까..ㅠ) 사장님께서 히터가 별도로 있다고 하시더라구요~ 추위 많이 타는 분은 미리 요청드리셔용
