"Incredible location, incredible dining and walkable to the port and everything else in Paraty. The bedroom area did not have a window if that's important to you. Staff was incredibly helpful, rush called me a taxi as I was late, I made it to my bus. The premises are impeccably maintained."

"I can't say enough good things about Patricia the host. She was warm, friendly, communicative, and very helpful. The Pousada was also very quaint, the breakfast was cooked to order and extremely plentiful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable."

"My partner and I loved staying in this hotel! We felt very welcome when we first arrived with the staff being friendly and helpful. The place is beautifully decorated and feels cosy. The afternoon tea (coffee/tea and a home made cake) was lovely. The breakfast was delicious too! The location is spot on, a short walk to the beach and a short walk into old town. We would highly recommend this hotel."

"If you are looking for a place in the city where all the action is happening and close to restaurants and shops this is your place. It is in the middle of all the action yet you will never know it. The hotel is quite, clean and well maintained. The 2 swimming pools are heated the hot tubs are clean and feel great. We where lucky to find this place. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sandi Staff for making our stay so great."

"Excellent stay, really quirky property. Breakfasts in the morning were like a full afternoon tea with unique tea cups and freshly baked goods, chefs did a great job. Our stay was made extra special by Marianetch who made the best caipirinha’s we have tried in Brazil (and we tried many) and was so welcoming, really made us feel at home. We looked forward to an evening drink with her each evening. You will really enjoy your stay in the centre of the historic centre!"
