"The Valley Motel in El Cajon CA is about 15 miles East from downtown San Diego. It's been around forever and the structure shows it but for the cheaper price I'm in! There is parking around back and out of sight, a gas station on the same lot and a liquor store adjacent to the motel as well as a drive through Mexican fast food restaurant across the street from where you will stay. There are so many coats of paint that you can't be certain what the main color is but, it works well for insulation...
"Nightly rate was comparable to the motel 6 and super 8 close by; however, what sets this place apart from those other motels is that as a single woman I actually felt safe here. I felt safe parking my car here and getting a good nights rest. The cleanliness is far better than I expected and aside from the location right off a busy street it’s peaceful and quiet."
