"Great view with snowcapped mountain plus great service and breakfast. It is in the middle station from Grindelwald to First where you can go trekking. We love the flower trails. Just you have to add on your budget for the cable from Grindelwald to First round trip of CHF 57 for 2 adults with Swiss Pass(children aged below 16 free if travel with parent). This saves time if time is limited for you. Option is to walk from Grindelwald to hotel and from hotel to First but it takes time."

The views from the balcony are straight out of a fairytale. What makes it even more special is its perfect location—just slightly off the main road, offering peace and quiet, yet only a short, scenic walk to the bustling shopping and tourist street.

The hotel breakfast buffet was excellent with extensive options. Additionally, the hotel restaurant options for dinner with very good. The indoor pool/whirlpool is large and very clean. "
"Really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are small - but that is pretty typical in Europe. It was a little hot since we came during a heatwave and it does not have air conditioning, but the evenings were cool, and we could leave the patio door open for relief. It does get a little noisy in the early morning because that's when traffic starts to pick up.
It is conveniently located right across the street from the train station.

"Arrived at the Hotel and the staff could not be more feiendly and helpful. Absolutely beautiful property with a swiss feel. Room was great , indoor pool with Sauna and showers . Restaurant was amazing and probably our best meal in Switzerland. Perfectly located right at the beginning of all the restaurants and shops in Grindenwald. Walk out the door and two minutes you are in the heart of everything. Walked to Grindenwald First as well.
Would highly recommend and absolutely stay there...

The property is located near the railway, so the mountain-view rooms can be a bit noisy during the day, but trains don’t run at night. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, I would recommend choosing a lake-view room for the best experience."
