My husband said this was his favorite stay out of all 9 places we booked for our two week trip. Maurice & Laureen are genuinely gracious and we absolutely had the best breakfast of our entire trip in Scotland. Gourmet eggs benedict, we will never forget our experience and would love go return.

The owners were amazing very good hosts. The room was very clean and very well kept. There was a choice of breakfast options, i went with the full cooked option. The food was obviously high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The area around the guest house was very quiet and peaceful at night. I will recommend and stay here again

A very friendly couple who were happy to give you information if you needed it. They had a beautifully decorated property which was very comfortable. The breakfast was so well presented made from lovely fresh ingredients. A great choice to stay there.

Maurice and Laureen were definitely the hosts with the mosts. From check-in to check-out everything was fabulous. You can tell they care about the guests. The room’s decor was just lush, very well maintained and clean like the rest of the guest house. The homemade cookies was a lovely welcome and the hearty porridge for breakfast was a lovely change to the full English (but they do that as well!). Would definitely recommend!

The Bojangles, Gretna.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bojangles guesthouse, Maurice and Laureen were very welcoming with some nice little touches such as the homemade cookies on arrival which were amazing. They directed us to a more scenic route for our evening destination and in the morning the cooked breakfast was perfect. We would highly recommend staying at The Bojangles guesthouse.

The breakfast was delicious hommade food, woth lots of choice, added fruits and yogurt. Very tasty. The hosts made you feel like home, very well woth communication and making sure you're happy. The room I stayed was Gretna amd they are stylishly simple and comfortable. There's fresh water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even a delicious hommade cookie. Shower was super clean, with Shower gel, shampoo and vanity kit available.

Immaculate, both our room and our hosts. It may be a guest house in name but has the feel and quality of a small boutique hotel. Made to feel like family and the choice of breakfast was above and beyond. Already looking forward to re-booking, Bojangles is the pearl of Gretna!

I had an amazing stay at Bojangles Guest House! Maurice and Laureen are truly exceptional hosts—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Bojangles

Bojangles has excellent reviews for multiple reasons, from the minute you arrive meeting the owners who are so friendly and welcoming to the beautiful, comfortable and spotless rooms and finally the amazing home cooked breakfast. We had eggs benedict which was superb. We visited Wales, England and Scotland over 3 days and stayed one night in each country and by unanimous decision Scotland hands down won the battles of the breakfasts. Highly recommend a stay at Bojangles you will not be disappointed.

Maurice and Laureen are fantastic hosts- warm, welcoming, and informative. The room was lovely, with a comfy bed and homemade cookies. Breakfast was delicious, especially the sausages and the homemade yoghurt. I hope the future brings us back to Gretna and Bojangles!
