"We recently stayed at Waves Hotel for four nights, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations.Upon arrival on May 16th, the room we received did not match what was on the website. May 17th was my son's birthday, and we had requested room decorations to celebrate. While the staff did sing "Happy Birthday" that evening, the decorations were not provided. On May 18th, we encountered a issue when our toilet overflowed, resulting in our room being covered in water. The maintenance team responded promptly and handled the cleanup efficiently. May 19th, my husband's birthday, and again, we requested room decorations and a birthday cake. Unfortunately, the cake was only delivered after I had to remind the staff multiple times. Later that morning, we inquired about the water taxi service and were informed that there was a daily limit of six guests allowed to visit other all-inclusive resorts, a detail we were not made aware of upon check-in. It took nearly two hours for a supervisor to arrive to address our concerns. Thankfully, Stephon was able to resolve the issue with professionalism. However, my experience with Zoe, was disappointing. I noticed a lack of greeting when I approached the front desk, despite her welcoming a British Caucasian guest shortly after me. (Be careful who you mistreat. You never know who knows who and which guest isnt a guest 🙂) Aside from this interaction, the majority of the staff were friendly and attentive. "Everything was excellent. Friendly staff and very relaxing vibe and entertainment. Beach front nice but not ideal for swimming. Pools were great and bar service was amazing. All restaurants were unique especially Oro which was tantalizing. Will be back again. Love Barbados 🇧🇧"

"This hotel was actually better than expected. It was reasonably priced and had a kitchen and balcony which was the main reasons I chose it but its right on st Lawrence gap so enjoying st Lawrence gap was a breeze. Also there are so many activities. I played pickle ball and mini golf and the pool was really enjoyable. The restaurant was on the beach and beautiful. The Staff was really nice. There was monkeys on the grounds chilling. There were really nice birds and friendly cats. I really enjoyed it."

"Our room was great, clean and modern finishings. The pools were a little disappointing, there are three advertised however one is a kiddie pool and the other is for guests 16 and up only so we were confined to one pool the entire time (my daughter is 14) and it's only chest deep. The hotel has good parking, all the cleaning staff were wonderful, same with the restaurant staff. The food could be a little better for the price, it was still good, but just good and highly expensive. The property and area is quite safe, very clean beach and the nightly entertainment was very good."

"We had a lovely sea view room though it was as far from rception as you could get. The room was clean and modern. The bedroom felt a little claustrophobic and got hot during the night. The aircon was too noisy to run all night."

"The room lacked essential amenities for our stay, specifically kitchen items such as a toaster, pots, and pans. We were accommodated in a studio on the ground floor. The staff demonstrated a pleasant demeanor. I left several notes for specific staff members at the front desk, which have not yet been delivered to the intended recipients. I found the text-based communication system from the front desk and hub to be highly effective, as it facilitated quick and easy resolution of issues without the need for a physical visit to the front desk or a phone call.Over all our stay was good.Should have a compensation for returning guest.We can stay many places in Barbados but we chose the Crane.."
