"I needed a place to stay for one night after an evening event in Scunthorpe. Gary and Sue were welcoming and most accommodating to my need for a late evening return. Good clean room with iron and tea made available. Well worth the money."

"I found the parking ideal right outside property and very safe. The property was spotless couldnt fault a thing. The breakfast was the best we will stop there again when we are in the area."

Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again"

"The good bits ,Arrived and check in was fine, Staff are friendly, room clean and tidy. Bad bits - reception didn't tell us breakfast finished at 9.30am and so on Sunday we missed it, as went down at 9.45am, I have never stayed anywhere were breakfast finishes so early. Saturday night meal, was OK, but restaurant ran out of Halloumi fries so had to chose alternative. Ordered Fish cakes for main, only one on the plate, says cakes not cake on the menu (sorry that's picky, but still) Ordered...

"We had a lovely stay overall and would definitely come back. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the food was great. Breakfast was especially gorgeous and a real highlight. There were just a few things that took the shine off a little. The toilet wasn’t as clean as we’d have expected, and the bath drain seemed blocked, so the water backed up while we were standing in the shower. "Kate and Jim were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble . The hotel is a hidden gem situated in the rolling Lincolnshire countryside with panoramic views"

"no signs for reception, doors were locked and there was no number or bell to ring, no wifi, no rubbish bin in room, curtains too small for the window, no toiletries, car park poorly lit, it looks like the hotel is under some sort of renovation, raining last night and the gutter was leaking"

"According to my son and his mate who had travelled from Oxfordshire for a football match the accommodation was everything that was described. The host was super friendly and even took the boys into Grimsby the next morning after my son had lost his car keys at the match 😩 "
