"We booked the week before to stay here for the weekend, as it is almost mid-way between Windermere (10 min walk) and Bowness-on-Windermere (15 min walk). I was originally put off by this spot being listed as a guest house, but my worries were unfounded as it is amazingly good. There is a large free car park with more spaces than rooms, so you're guaranteed a space. Our welcome was really good ( I'd emailed them to ask about vegan breakfast options, so they had left soya milk on our teatray in...

"Fantastic central location in Bowness - an abundance of shops and restaurants are on the doorstep, and the jetty is a just a short walk away. The allocated parking is a huge benefit. The garden outside the property is absolutely stunning, and the room was spacious, spotless, comfortable and full of charming character (the Puddle-Ducks theme was a lovely touch). The morning breakfast hamper with breads, fruit, yogurt, and juice was really nice too. Highly recommended"

"The Location is Beautiful, Grounds are very well maintained with stunning views of the hills. The actual building we stayed in was fantastic for the space you get and the facilities. We made use of the bbq and the huge oven upstairs aswel as playing pool and table football. Plenty of beds which aren't crammed in, great for 3 small families or group stays. Can't speak highly enough, I will be going back hopefully end of Aug as just around the corner is a beautiful lake which is crystal clear and...

"Really nice place, with very nice owners who were friendly and helpful, good location, nice room in this well maintained guest house, and nice breakfast menu, including a full English breakfast (additional cost). Parking is on the street in this residential neighborhood and could be tricky if no spaces are available, although I didn't have that problem. Very happy with the place. I'd certainly stay there again. Thanks to Richard and Paula, the owners"
