"The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. The breakfast was nice to have. The hotel and room (bathroom) were not the cleanest. Upon walking into the room, I noticed there was debris on the toilet seat and around the back of it. As in debris from people wiping and little pieces of paper and whatnot being left behind. That made me very uncomfortable to touch anything else. I ended up wiping everything down with Clorox wipes. The ice machine in the common area had visible fungus of some kind dripping down into the ice reservoir. It looks like it’s never cleaned. That made me feel sick to see. We ended up buying ice from a grocery store."

"When speaking to the staff about the pet charges mentioned on Expedia for their property, he was pretty defensive about it rather than trying to understand my where I was coming from. Although I was fine with their pet charge policy in the end, it would have been nice for the man to listen more rather than tell me that Expedia is more concerned about making money off of each hotel rather than partnering with them."

"We didn’t stay. The owner/manager was very nice, but that was the only good part. Our room was at the end of the back row of rooms, which was also next to the building where there was a fire at some point, but nothing has been done to clean it up. To top it off, there was a man sitting in a lawn chair in front of the burnt building reading a book, who looked like a grown version of Huckleberry Finn, right off the river. The room had a moldy smell and was grimy, like they change the sheets and wipe a used towel over the surface, but that was it. I honestly didn’t feel safe. The owner refunded our money very apologetically."
