It is beautiful both inside an out with beautiful vistas from every corner, window, seat etc. My favourite part of the resort is their private beach club down by the sea. It is magnificent as well! The water is beautiful and your lounges are perch just above the sea. Remember to reserve a spot at the beach club when you arrive as there are only about 15 spots there!!!"

"My wife and I recently celebrated a milestone birthday in Amalfi and stayed at the Anantara Convento Di Amalfi Grand Hotel. We had many hotel options, but we are so pleased that we chose the Anantara and the city of Amalfi for our stay. The location was a perfect launching point to visit the many areas of interest. It was close enough to all the restaurants, shops and sea in Amalfi, but also far enough away to enjoy a more private experience. The walk from the hotel down into the center of Amalfi was breathtaking. The staff was wonderful and always bent over backwards to make us happy. We must give a shoutout to the pastry chef for breakfast. We really enjoyed all the special treats."

Pontone is a nice quiet area, which we preferred over the more busier areas nearby. The hotel is a long walk to/from Amalfi (~45 mins of stairs), but there's also a cheap local bus stop that is 7 mins away. Staff were very kind. There's daily breakfast, but also some really great local restaurants nearby."
