"The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury."

"Had a wonderful stay , when you arrive the hotel and views are amazing , a nice warm greeting from lovely receptionist, we stayed in the Queen room was beautiful & lovely views , dinner & Breakfast was so lovely , cooked with best ingredients makes a change to have such a lovely meal & service all the staff lovely , my only negative was didn’t have long another stay would have loved to stay another night was wonderful!!!!"
"This was probably our 5th or 6th stay at The Craven Heifer but the first since it changed hands from being a family run establishment to being part of a large chain. As always the property was very clean and tidy and very well maintained, definitely no complaints there. For us, the food had always been a selling point of The Craven Heifer, fresh locally sourced produce freshly cooked however on this occasion we did not have an opportunity to experience an evening meal but we did enjoy breakfast...
