"Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom.
Bathrobes were a nice touch.
Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb.
Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous.
Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range.
Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked...
"Owner was super friendly and recommended an amazing pub for dinner. Cooked us a lovely breakfast in the morning at our requested time. Rooms were huge with a nice bath and shower. Wish we could of stayed longer then a night. Thanks!"
"Excellent junior suite. Newly built. Excellent restaurant and breakfast, free parking. The hotel is a 20 min walk from the centre of Sherborne.
We will stay at the hotel again when travelling through Dorset. Highly recommend."

"Good location in centre of Sherborne. Very reasonably priced room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub has a car park and is also just 5/10 minutes walk from station. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. "If I could give this place 6 stars I would! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was friendly and first class. The room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. I had the best night's sleep I have had in years.Could not find fault in any way with the evening meal and the breakfast. The young lads and lasses who were waiting on the tables both inside and out, always had a smile on their face."
