"Great historical place to stay. Perfect to walk around the French Quarter. Amazing view of the river in front rooms. Next time definitley I am getting a balcony! The courtyard & coffee house downstairs, beignets across the street, the sound of the calliope on the river & the gentle whistle of the train, beckons you to enjoy the magic of NOLA."

"The hotel is a short walk to Riverwalk Mall. There are number a restaurants right outside the hotel. The Caesar Casino is directly across the street. Mother’s restaurant is also across the street the other direction there is usually a line but it moves quickly good for breakfast. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. "

"Lots of shops and food choices. My room was next to the linen closet and it was quite loud most of my stay. Staff is very friendly."

"Website images of room were very deceiving. Room was very small. Thanks goodness we had a balcony. Had to wait almost 45 minutes for the baker to bring our car. Went to the bar and they only had 2 bartenders making drinks and taking food orders. That wait was pretty bad as well we eventually left and went out for dinner. Won’t stay there again. Location was good though!"
