"The building is a little old, with certain updates made (elevator etc). Rooms can be very hard to get to, unless you are close to the elevator. With any booking you make in the UK, always book the breakfast if you intend to eat breakfast. It will save you a ton if you prebook and pay for it. On-site parking, but parking lot is very tight."

"The room was spacious and clean with comfortable bed and chair. When I rang from the Airport asking about transport options, I was told to walk. It’s just over a mile (1.6km)There are no paths/sidewalks on either side of the road. On checking in, I was told that staff are not allowed to call taxis for guests. Next morning there was a sign at reception confirming such. There was no one at reception anyway. It’s a shame as the food was great and the restaurant and bar service was good"

"Very friendly staff. Room nice enough, basic but clean. Hotel needs a bit of TLC. Redundant, disintegrating soap dispensers in the bathroom didn’t help the look of the place. Key card to our room didn’t work when we returned. Breakfast okay but scrambled eggs not nice at all, sausages lovely and nice fresh coffee a nice addition. Staff lovely and very friendly and helpful. There was a live parrot which isn’t great on a carpet floor, would be difficult to keep clean. Fabulous location for a visit to the dark hedges.Outside seating nice but grounds around the hotel could do with a bit of tidying up."

The room was spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were both faultless. But what truly stood out, however, was the level of customer service. Every interaction felt genuine and personalized, which made the stay feel memorable rather than routine."

"Definitely a 5/5 B&B! We were so amazed of how great the service was. The breakfast was so amazing as well. They went above and beyond. When we arrived, she made us very comfortable and even served us tea! She gave great recommendations of places to see in the area, and made us a day of itinerary with directions on where to go to see the best sights. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area, and we hope to be back in the future!"

"Lovely room, but no mirror in the bedroom to be able to dry my hair. I told the receptionist and she said they were working on that. I asked for a sandwich for dinner to take to my room, but the chef said no so I had to order from the menu. So only a couple of little niggles, but apart from that it was a great hotel and I would definitely book again."
