"WOW. Firstly, yes there are 183 steps to the property but the first 107 are straight up and then everything after that is a couple steps with landings and short walks inbetween. There’s also a hill to the stairs BUT they have free luggage service that they provide to help you get your suitcases up to the villa. "We enjoyed our stay at il canneto! Everything was clean and beautiful , the staff are very nice and friendly! a bit far from spiaggia grande and the town as a walking distance but very convenient if your way of transfer is the bus, the local bus stops right in front of the hotel as the hotel location is directly on the main street and if you are planning to rent a scooter like we did , il canneto is a perfect choice since it has a private parking!
