"Decent size room, room was clean, breakfast buffet costs 15 euro for one, and offers a great varieties, it’s close to metro, but it’s far from the city center and touristy spots. Arrived early before noon, before Checkin time at 1pm, was told early check-in costs 30 euro then, opted to wait till 1pm"

"Hotel should have 5 stars. The staff is the highlight, friendly, professional and prompt to helping out. The room was the best we have in this trip, spacious with a breathtaking view of the the palace. The breakfast has a lot of variety and it was delicious. The rooftop has 360 views of the city. The location is the best to stay in Madrid, in the middle of everything but not noise."

"Disappointed that the lift didn't stop at floor two on numerous occasions. One lift out of use all week I was there. A customer, who claimed she visits regularly through work, says it is a common issue the hotel haven't sorted."

"Amazing stay, very close to the train station. Staff are very polite and friendly, and keen to help (thank u!). The room was lovely, very clean and super comfy, had the best sleep!! Really happy we booked Barcelo, won't be our last stay for sure."

"Staff was nice, location and neighborhood was decent but that is about all I can mention as good. Room was kind of small, beds were really questionable, no carpet and walls were thin and door sound proofing non existent, so you could hear neighbors when you try to sleep. On our last night a crazy couple came to room next to us and started fighting and shouting for almost two whole hours to the point that I had to call receptionist who pretended not to know english and I doubt he did anything to make the idiots next door calm down."
