Beautiful, well lanscaped, small, intimate and clean property nestled on the shores of Loch Linnhe. Excellent restaurant with great food, selection, and service. Overall perfect experience with only one minor exception: there is no lift, so access to all rooms requires climbing stairs.

Excellent customer service from all staff…they were courteous….. very dog friendly and a lovely room…. Bathroom was really nice, everywhere was really clean! Food was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel….

Great place to stay while visiting Glencoe. Beautiful patio looking over over the loch to enjoy a meal. (Try the chocolate cake!) Only downside was no lift and narrow stairs, fine for us, but i could see others having issues.

This is a fantastic hotel with great staff. The rooms are clean and lovely views over the lough. It has a nice Restaurant with good food. You wake up in the morning to a buffet breakfast to suit most people.

This is a gem. Right on the water. Beautiful views. We had a great room, nice shower, lots of sunlight. Big full breakfast with excellent service.

The view was 5 stars and that is where the 5 star experience stopped. We booked a room for a family of four and ended up in a “pod” which was essentially a storage shed turned into sleeping quarters. It was tiny and barely fit our family. The hot water in the shower was tepid at best and lasted only a few minutes before it w my cold. The worst part of this experience was that the pod backed up to the highway and you could hear every car go by and actually feel the entire pod shake when trucks passed. Unfortunately there was road construction going on ALL night so we had to listen to banging and backup alarms all through the night.

After reading the reviews I was 50/50 but after/when staying there don’t understand why. Staff were great, food great, location right on the lake and my room backed onto the road and I couldn’t hear in the bedroom (could in the bathroom). Definitely great value for money.

Wonderful stay
Had to book it at the final hour and as a last resort but turned out to be one of the best hotels booked so far. The place was fantastic and very comfortable. I would recommend it to everyone looking to spend some time in and around Glencoe.

Brutally terrible.
I paid £118 for one night's stay at the Onich Hotel. For that sum I received one bedroom with: - Alarmingly repulsive stains all over the wall - Dirty paintwork and fixtures - Disposable plastic cups in the bathroom - A broken toilet seat hanging on by one pin - A broken TV - A window, the glass of which was intact but the frame broken - A visibly unwell manager who sneezed on a group of guests checking in In summary, do not stay at the Onich Hotel

All fixtures are filthy.
Mysterious yet horrifying stains.

Easy to find, good sized car park, quick and friendly check in, great dinner and breakfast. Only downside was the noise from passing traffic is very loud. If I’d had brought earplugs it would have been perfect!

Beautiful hotel right on the loch! The room was a bit dated but the food and staff were great, lots of space for parking and a beautiful view in the dining room of the loch.

Complete disappointment for the price. Stayed in one of the loch-side pods in mid-September, 2023. Gorgeous view, but the practicalities of the pod left something to be desired. This property could be a destination worth a detour...but instead it felt something like a college dorm where mismatched furniture was shoved into a space it didn't suit. No kitchen garbage, missing kitchen utensils (bottle opener, scissors etc.), uneven numbers of plates and cutlery, missing chair cushions, shoddy finishings. If you plan on using the stove to cook - don't. There's no way to vent the fumes and there's a wooden shelf installed directly above. It also shakes every time heavy trucks pass by on the adjacent highway. Like other reviewers we knew it was close to the road but perhaps expected slightly better build quality given the price tag. The hotel WiFi also "disconnected" at 11:30 every night.... The entire pod gives the impression that it was slapped together at low cost without any serious thought. Would not return or recommend.

We stayed in the pod. Outside pod sitting is rusty and can’t use. Poor quality inside set up. bathroom’s tape is unstable, the size of sink is unexpected small in a standard bathroom , no hangers or racks for clothes. Totally not recommended

The views are unbeatable from Onich hotel! We stayed in the panoramic cabin. Our kettle was broken and it was a bit moist in the cabin but it is great for a one or two night stay. The restaurant was a bit posh for us so we went to another pub down the road. Will emphasize again that the view from our cabin was perfect.

One of the nicer hotels we were at. Great view of the loch and mountains from our balcony window and great TV watching options on Netflix and Amazon Prime. The restroom was clearly newly renovated that includes a showering section and a separate bathtub which was great to see. Highly recommend to stay here.

The position of this hotel is right on the lochside, offering wonderful views. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. There is no lift and we were not offered any help with our cases. As I have back trouble and my partner has recently had surgery for a hernia, it would have been kind if the man at the desk had offered us some assistance.

Very friendly but overpriced
Very friendly staff, we just felt the room was run down, cracks in wall and the towel rail did not work. It was very noisy as near the main road and windows weren't very good. The room was not clean enough , surfaces were sticky and there was a hair in the shower . Overpriced for what it is.

Beautiful location. Dinner at the restaurant was what you’d expect at a cheap hotel, though seemed a bit overpriced. Our room was facing the street, which was fairly quiet at night. However the room was damp. Staff were are attentive.

The Onich Hotel was right on a Loch with beautiful views. The property was quiet, clean with very pleasant staff. We had dinner there, would recommend the curry! Breakfast was also pretty good 👍

It was OK, all told. The location and views were superb but the hotel relies on these with the hotel itself looking somewhat tired, the rooms in need of decorating and the breakfast with several things well overcooked and ingredients obviously not of highest quality. I'm not dissatisfied overall but next time I'd go somewhere else

The property was very dated-we could see that updates were being made but it seemed kind of mish-mashed. Our bathrooms were very nice but the rooms were not so much. We didn't feel we needed to lock the door because no one would have been able to push it in anyway they were so sticky. Several of the staff were either so quiet we could hardly hear them or inattentive. Sometimes there are other people in the room besides the tall blonde.

Hotel area was perfect. Staff very friendly and nothing was any trouble food very good. Excellent choice at breakfast. Bedrooms could do with a little tlc but otherwise very clean and had everything you would need.
