"Walking distance to ballpark, football stadium, fountain square - great time in Cincinnati"

"Check in was at 3pm. We waited in the bar with our suitcases until 4:30 because our room wasn't ready. Several others were also waiting in the bar. Why the bar? That's also the check-in/check-out. It's also the ONLY place to get ice. It's also where you get breakfast and coffee. Once in the room, the toilet lid was broken and kept falling off -we eventually just laid it on the floor. The shower gel bottle was completely empty. There was no ice bucket. The closet is a shared closet in the hallway for the entire floor. There were a couple blankets, a couple towels and washcloths, a coffee pot, toothbrushes, and toothpaste in the shared closet. No ice buckets. Still empty when we checked out. Also, nobody told us where to find this; we just happened upon an employee in the elevator who told us we should have an ice bucket in our "stash closet." After searching the room with no luck, we found it in the hallway. The only good thing was the shower had plenty of hot water. I felt sorry for the 2-3 employees trying to keep up with people checking in, checking out, asking questions/complaining, serving drinks, serving breakfast/ pastries/coffee, providing items the closets are out of, and filling ice buckets. Terrible experience."

"It was a wonderful hotel, I enjoyed my stay there. I only Give it 4 stars due to finding the lobby was complicated. It’s located on the 3rd level and was difficult to find until other guests let me in. The pillows were nice but a bit to airy / flat. Overall, staff / cleanliness was superb "

"Very pretty corner hotel, great location. We stayed in the King room with the sofa bed. Room looks a little bigger in the Expedia images, but still plenty big for two people. I like that I can connect my YouTube, Netflix etc to the tv. Some hotels don’t offer that still? Room was updated with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker iron/board, can’t remember if I saw a safe in the closet but I didn’t bring valuables that wouldn’t be on my person. Large windows and tv. There’s two ways to get in- sliding doors that functioned 95% of the time…the manual doors were confusing. One would open but they other wouldn’t, sometimes neither of them would. Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby wasn’t working, but they have a bistro on the 2nd floor that has coffee and some breakfast items. I really liked the views through the big windows in the bistro. Cincinnati’s downtown has a lot of old and functioning buildings. Walking distance to the reds stadium and well as their beautiful Roebling Suspension Bridge. Lots of food options nearby. I’d give this hotel 3.5 out of 5. I might try to stay in a different one next time, but I wouldn’t be mad staying here again."
