We had the full English breakfast and were delighted with the high quality of the bacon etc. The swimming pool was heated and was available from early morning to late evening. The host -Craig - was always very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there again whenever visiting that area of Devon. "

"We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the comfort in the rooms. Both the bedroom and the public rooms were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast and evening meals were superb and we did enjoy having a freshly cooked breakfast brought to our table rather than a buffet style self service where the food had been hanging around. The overall impression was of happy staff creating a pleasant atmosphere"
"This is a great and charming hotel. It looks a bit dated in the outside, but the facilities are great, specially the spa and food services. The town is small with great views of cliffs if you walk to the west. Lots of little shopping. The beach isn’t a plus as it’s rocky, but hotel has nice swimming options."
