"Our stay was perfect for our purposes. We had a one night reservation here followed by a one night reservation at Pairi Daiza. We wanted to be close to Pairi Daiza so that we could go to the zoo early on the day of our planned arrival. Rather than being just a useful location, Hotel du Parc turned out to be very charming. The room was spacious, the staff helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. The town of Ath is lovely with a lot of restaurants, bars, and little shops to stroll in and out...

"A great home base for a cycling trip. The rooms were very clean and modern and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was a convenient and secure bike storage room in the garage with local bike services nearby. The many routes as detailed by the Centrum RVV all originate at the doorstep of the hotel. It was a very warm week in Belgium, so it was wonderful to relax with a drink on their backyard patio where there was both ample shade and a nice breeze. Would definitely...

No USB ports, no kettle, warm fridge, safe that didn't open, bedside wall light front plate fell off, no instructions on how to operate anything, no information about breakfast/dinner menus, bed sheets do not fit the bed. "Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde.
