"This is a very clean hotel. The breakfast was very good. There was a self check in process which I didn't realize ahead of time and wasn't informed of before I got there. I am actually not sure how I was supposed to get the code but I ended up ringing the bell in the small lobby to get someone to respond. There is also no airport shuttle other than one you can book yourself from a 3rd party. It does stop at the hotel but other than that the hotel doesn't have anything to do with it."

"Only had a tiny window on left side of room. Leaving room quite dark. If you like sun … not the room for you. Massage was mediocre. Slippers were NOT provided. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast. All was fresh. Location is good."

"Hard to get used to the 'contactless check in'. No humans around. The apartment was adequate, but there were a few things that should be addressed. I needed to iron a dress, and, yes there was an iron, and an ironing board that would sit on a table. Except that there was nowhere in the apartment where I could plug in the iron and use a table for the ironing board! I would have to rearrange the apartment. Also, the outlets in the bedroom were only accessible by crawling under the bedside tables....

"The staff were helpful in every way. From the second we walked in the door to the moment we left, they were always helpful and offering solutions to make our trip enjoyable and relaxing. We stayed one night, left for an overnight tour, and then stayed a second night - we were able to store our larger suitcase while we went on the bus tour, which was a huge relief for a mom traveling along with a child. "My father and I just had a recent stay at Hotel Borg for three nights. We were very upset with the service from the housekeeping staffs looking after our room. When we first arrived to our room, we found out that our welcome fruit basket was empty. That was not what we expected to see at a (5-star?) luxury hotel (as stated on the hotel’s own website). We called and asked about that and the staff came to our room with some fruits in the plastic bags and handed that to us. On the next day after...

"A lovely experience. I loved walking out on the balcony to that amazing view. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Not to mention it's right in the middle of everything! I plan on coming back to Iceland several times and I'll be sure to stay here again!"
