"Nice room. Very clean property. Staff was courteous and welcoming. The location was perfect. We could still easily visit the more touristy sites in London via the tube but stay in a more interesting area like Shoreditch. The best of both worlds."

"This hotel offers very good value for money, being in a convenient location and a good level of comfort. We just needed somewhere to sleep for a night within walking distance from the barbican and this hotel was ideal. It is also walking distance from Liverpool Street station. The staff were friendly and attentive and the breakfast was a buffet style with a decent selection. I appreciated that mugs and take away cups were provided at the coffee machine. We chose the cheapest twin room which was on the basement level with no windows, but this was not a problem and meant there was no noise from traffic or early morning light to wake us up. The room was fairly basic but comfortable."

"Great stay! The room was modern, comfortable, and very well maintained, with an amazing bathroom and excellent amenities. The only area for improvement is Some staff have limited English, which can lead to misunderstandings. For example, we received written information via email saying the gym would close the next day, when it was actually closing the following week. A small issue, but better communication would avoid this kind of confusion. Overall, a very enjoyable stay! Loved the hotel and the brand!"

"There was no one to check us in initially, we got into the building after another guest. If they hadn't opened the door, we'd be waiting for a while outside with the bags and our fingers on the buzzer. Building has a funky smell, bathroom is cramped, the low hanging sloped ceiling on the upper level is a hazard. Kitchenette is good though. Shoreditch is an interesting location, slightly rough around the edges, but hotel was close enough to public transport."

"Room was clean, air conditioning working (critical in the recent heatwave), bed mostly comfortable: base was two put together, mattress was one so as long as you stayed on one half you're fine but uncomfortable if you slept right in the middle. Some flooring was peeling/lifting up, but not a trip hazard yet. TV was Apple TV: remote was a little battered and slightly unresponsive/slow. Most options needed you to sign into your own account (apple/Google/BBC) (not included for free/automatically). One bedside lamp was broken. Slight confusion over breakfast, but was ironed out in the end. (Check-in staff member said it was included, but morning person seemed to say it wasn't, but then said it was complementary instead.) Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient (tablet with self service (though if staff are free they will help walk you through)."
