"We have traveled around the US visiting our marine and Best Western has become like coming home no matter where we venture."

"Very helpful staff and amazing ambiance."

"Staff was very helpful, polite (giving elevator priority to guests, replacing linens, etc.). Breakfast okay, yogurt dispenser a little odd, over sweet product. Small kitchenette counter in room was useful. Lightbulbs in rooms somewhat dim if drapes are closed . Very close and walkable to Doheney State Beach"

"Great service and amenities. Beach access, loved our stay"

"The apartment was sufficient, but it was dated. After about 10 minutes of walking around barefoot, bottom of my feet were black. I called downstairs to have them come up and mop the floor and let them know that we’d be leaving soon so they can do it then. They did not, I let the front desk know and they said it would get cleaned later that day or the next day which is the day before we were leaving, but they never did. They do not offer coffee in the lobby in the mornings and the store doesn’t...

"We had a great stay! The staff both day and evening were friendly, very helpful and considerate."

"The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good"

"The property is beautiful. The staff is warm, friendly, & helpful. The rooms are well kept and clean. I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning."

"Wonderful stay! Great room, cleaned everyday, and the owners were wonderful and accommodating."

"I'm going to start with the cons because folks should be warned: This place is VERY run down/grimy. Dingy, banged up furniture. Broken outlet plates, key cards that sometimes work, sometimes don't. No central air, so be prepared for an effective but LOUD wall unit. The carpet and the seating area in the lounge were filthy. And here's the worst part - in spite of being on the 3rd floor... ANTS all over the place in the room! Swarming the trash, my dog's food bowl, etc. When I went to tell them...

"The staff were incredibly friendly, making for a wonderful stay. The breakfast was delicious, too; I would love to stay here again."

"While it was nice to have a kitchenette the rest of the room was dated with mildew in the bathroom - it could definitely use a refresh. It was also nice to have breakfast, but it wasn’t very good and they start taking stuff away with 1/2 hour still to go. Most of the employees were very nice, but they contradicted each other at times. Overall, it’s an okay place to stay."

"As long as the room is clean, that would be most important to me, albeit it was only a one-night stay. The staff made me feel welcoming. The breakfast was above and beyond expectation, with the staff very tentative, well done. But again, I was only there one night. The only negative; eliminate paid parking."

"Large room. Snow white towels. Fridge, microwave and safe in the room."

"The initial impression of the common areas is deceiving, the rooms themselves are crap. The beds were wildly uncomfortable, climate control barely worked, shower was an absolute joke, and there were ants and spiders in my room. Charging $6 for a small gatorade from the cooler by the desk is laughable for how terrible this place is. Don’t stay here, for the same price you can get MUCH better places."
