"Beautiful place! Wonderful amenities and such a lovely staff. I was very ill upon arrival (stomach flu) and had a terrible time getting to the hotel. My husband went in early (since I couldn’t function) and asked if it would be possible to check in a bit early so that I could get into a bed and rest. "My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The place is charming and an experience in itself. It is an old house, but the rooms are in a perfect condition and spotlessly clean. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The location is great for exploring the area to the west of London, including Salisbury, Bath and Bristol in a car. "

"The staff were wonderful , generous and very helpful with all the questions I had during my time there for almost a week. Do check with the lovely folks at reception about taxi , car hires and to get any information about facilities around there. Restaurant staff were equally wonderful and accomodative all of which made my stay there very relaxed. "

"This hotel is very cute and exactly what we needed. We had rooms on the top floor that were quite comfortable. I will say if you have problems with stairs. Or a lot of luggage, ask for a room in the lower floor. Lugging our bags up the three+flights of narrow stairs was a bit of a strain. "
