"The view of the lake is wonderful. The so-called breakfast was some individually wrapped pastries and just one coffee choice (no decaf) and juice boxes for the kids, essentially not a breakfast at all. The room itself is old, very few outlets and no dedicated charger plugs. No clock. No good places to hang one's towel to dry. Bed was fine. If you want a place to stay and do not care about amenities or breakfast, the room is worth the view of the lake."

"Michael greeted us upon arrival with a simple and easy check-in and check-out process. To our surprise, the staff cleaned our room daily. I highly recommend the Gorgeous View Motel for a restful nights sleep and easy access to all that the Watkins Glen area has to offer."

"This is a very reasonable and affordable place to stay as a solo or family traveler. It's a small independent motel that feels like a throwback to the 80s or 90s with actual metal room keys and decor that feels like your Grandma's spare room. The pool is well maintained and clean; the room I stayed in was decently cleaned but the maid definitely needed to check under the bed after the last guests left. The deluxe king bed room itself was enormous for a family of three just spending one night....

"Jen, our host was amazing! The inn was very beautiful, clean and welcoming. The inn is within walking distance to great restaurants, pubs and Glenn falls state park. Vineyards and wine tasting start withing a 5 minute drive and the scenery ( lake view) begins right on the inn's porch or upper decks. A great place for our 50th anniversary "road trip"."

"The property is a in a centric area , walking distance from the town. No coffee maker , I question it and the person at the desk said she would looking to it never did and the box mattress had stains on it. The front desk is very friendly"

"The room is very bare bones, but was clean and efficient. The window was broken, but patched. I saw a review that said the air conditioner was loud, we didn’t need the air conditioner, but I could see why somebody would say it was loud it was on when we got there. Parking was more than sufficient thought there was a really humongous puddle."

"I was disappointed when I arrived. I expected that the facility would be closer to the lake. The online photos are misleading. The room was small. There really were no amenities."

"Lovely property centrally located on the East coast of Seneca lake with access to the lake. Great home base for trips to Watkins Glen, Taughanack and Ithaca. .Quick trip to great hiking and biking. .Surrounded by vineyards and wonderful restaurants. Cottages are immaculate and comfortable. Most have view of the lake and Seneca sunsets!"

"Rating: 2.5–3 stars This property sits in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and the hills to the west. The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay. The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception...
