We had an absoloutely wonderful two night stay with our toddler at Cave Auger. The upstairs family apartment was perfect for us , and we were particularly grateful for the excellent air con during one of the heatwaves earlier this year. The pool was great - warm and immaculately clean. Stéphane was the most welcoming host - and we particularly enjoyed the dinner on the terrace that was all local produce, and it came with our own little barrel of delicious wine. Breakfast similarly...

The property was beautiful and the owner Arthur was on hand for anything needed. Martine the housekeeper was lovely and looked after us superbly

Loved every minute of our stay, room was big and bathroom clean, pool was a nice touch with the weather being so warm, staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast but I'm sure it was just as amazing as the hotel. Location was closed enough to the centre but not too close.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spotless, and the owner was exceptionally polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The homemade jams and lavender sachets were thoughtful touches that made our stay even more special. Breakfast was simple yet delicious, with fresh and tasty options. The garden is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with very comfortable beds. One of the highlights was the lovely view from the balcony overlooking...

We could not praise this any more. Very helpful great food. Easy to find

Beautiful hotel with impeccable service. One of the very best in Loire.

Very good hotel set in the middle of Azay and therefore a ver good position. The staff were very helpful and made us very welcome

I could find nothing to fault - we had a perfect couple of nights in this lovely chateaux

Excellent hotel in an excellent central location. Very new and comfortable hotel. Would strongly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

Superb hotel. Fantastic position by river, in old town below Chateau. Very comfortable room, stylish decor and impeccable service. Lovely big bathroom with picture windows (with curtains...). Great, fresh breakfast, served at your table. Excellent range of Scotch Whiskey too!

Lovely views over the countryside and an outdoor restaurant that's beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful with excellent service

Second stay here. 2 nights on the way from Calais to Perigord. Lovely rooms, food and drink. Not cheap but worth it. AC very welcome especially for our ageing Labrador! Pool really good. Not much to do in the village but plenty nearby.

This delightful old property in the countryside, with a welcoming host, diner was served in the garden & breakfast was very satisfying. We only stayed the one night while en-route through France, but could have stayed longer.

kind staff, spacious room and parking, 24hour check-in
