"We were greeted with a 20 minutes line to check-in because the lack of available staff. People expect to arrive and quickly check-in when they book rooms in a 5-stars hotel. Then they required us to leave a deposit amount for some reason. Many hotels don't have it as a requirement so it was an unpleasant surprise. Then we tried to use this deposit in the on-site restaurant and they refused to use it because "we didn't use a credit card for the deposit". Long story short, the check-in and dinner experience were horrible and draining. The room seemed to be mostly clean in visible places, but when I put my finger through a top shelf it was full of dust, as if it was not cleaned for at least 3-4 months. The TV in the room is not a smart TV and is very old, but at least they could send someone to put a smart TV stick in it so we could put some Youtube. I can't say the whole experience was absolutely horrible, the staff is friendly and helpful which made it a little more bearable. But I wouldn't book a room in Grand Hyatt again."
