Pushing a mop/sweeper on the floor and baseboard behind the beds might need a little more frequent attention. How could I see it? Well, I check for bed bugs in mattresses first thing before setting my things down. As a result, I was able to witness the ground there and base board area. Was it overtly terrible or a disgrace? Absolutely NOT - no worries - but it wasn’t in keeping with the rest of the amazing and well kept room. I mentioned it and it was taken care of the next day for cleaning.
The staff at check-in were great! I wish I could remember the name of the guy who checked us in. (evening/overnight shift) He was kind and a professional given the lateness of the hour we arrived. Our room was located nearest to an elevator, so I asked for a room change. He offered another room near some stairs and once again I asked for a change as I explained my reasons (which I should have mentioned upfront), but he didn’t skip a beat. He said he understood, and adjusted the room selection once again while saying, he could understand my reasons. These all may seem small things to someone, but they mean a great deal to me, and to have someone not make you feel like your asking them to do too much is wonderful. He just took it all in stride. He said, “This is what I’m here for, Ma’am, and I want to make your stay a pleasant one.” TY ! It was."
