Excellent stay, friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable.

A well-designed, well-equiped and comfortable studio appartment. A friendly and well-organised team run the property with great attention to detail. The breakfasts are great and the location is ideal for the local bars and restaurants. I can wholeheartedly recommend Casa da Galeria!

The conceirge saw us before we saw the entrance and helped us with free parking and made us feel very welcome. He also gave us a map with a brief over view of what to do on the island. The room was clean and bed very comfy and super sized. The hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast for us was included and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was fresh with lots of offer. The beach and town center were so close we popped in and out all the time. I would highly recommend.

This hotel was an absolute gem! Centrally located with fantastic access to the old town and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The facilities were amazing, with the pool right on our doorstep — perfect for cooling down and relaxing in the evenings. Breakfast was superb, with a fantastic selection from the buffet as well as freshly cooked options available on request. The hotel is amongst the best we've stayed in. The room is comfortable with great views over the gardens. The food is good, but what makes the hotel outstanding is the service from the staff. They are very friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble and you are always greeted with a smile. The hotel has a unique thermal pool with a constant 35-40oC temperature. The hotel provide robes and towels to use at the pool, which is just as well as the iron rich water stains everything...

From the minute we entered the hotel we were impressed. Staff at reception were amazing.we were taken up to our suite by Paulo he explained everything about the suite how stuff worked, told us about the bars in the hotel he was fantastic. If you can treat yourself to a suite as they are simply amazing. There was nothing we could fault about our stay at this hotel. Lovely hotel with both character and excellent amenities. Great location looking over the sea and a stone’s throw from the restaurants and shops. Parking was 10 euros for the night, but that gave us a place in a secure car park just round the corner from the hotel entrance.

Clean, kitchen had everything that was needed. Sea views. Staff so helpful, above and beyond what was expected. Use of hot tub, swimming pool, sauna, turkish steam room and gym. Even a playroom for kids. Only issue was that the laundry was really expensive. A washing machine available to guests would have been useful even with a charge.

A nice new property in perfect quiet location in Ponta Delgada. Breakfast was quite poor for such expensive property. More variety needed. Rooms are very small with cheap IKEA furniture. On a plus side communal kitchen which was equipped with everything. Overall pleasant stay. However, way too expensive for what is was.

Great hotel for a family stay- double bed, single bed & sofa bed. All lovely & clean including the pool area. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice. Bit of a walk to town & Praia Vitoria isn't the most attractive spot in the Azores but was ideal as a base.

They don’t have free refills of coffe and tea

Hi everyone. This hotel is located in the north of the island and easily accessible from the capital, Ponta Delgada in 20 min by car mostly in a motorway. Its right on the coast with a beach a few meters away. There's nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Its clean, friendly and full of the right amenities for a place with this classification. Villa had all you could want, ingenious design . Very helpful staff who went out of their way to help in any way - good tourist info , and the restaurant was excellent. Trying very hard to make this new venture a success- they deserve it! Location great for the long sandy beach and wave watching.

We were greeted by a friendly lady behind the desk who showed us up to our room. The room was a generous size and modernly decorated with a king size bed with big soft cushions. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat. The bathroom was excellent - I loved the shower and the shower gels and lotions provided (GreenPark) !
