"Really surprised by this place. Really hidden away. The room was lovely and clean and nicely decorated, very modern. Only downfall was the chargeable parking, shame but not the end of the world as it was £5 for 24 hours…just didn’t expect it. Would definitely stay here again "

"Staff at Oulton Hall are the stand out feature. From check in to Oliver in the restaurant to the waiting staff at breakfast, all are well above expectations. Old school service where staff wait for you to pass rather than rushing to get where THEY need to be is actually quite refreshing these days. Can some things be improved, sure but this hotel has a lovely pool, great dinner and breakfast and just a lovely vibe. Check it out, for the most of us, it’s a wonderful experience. "

"Lovely vibe, staff are great and friendly, happy to chat with guests. The gentleman who changed are room was very helpful as we requested to move to the other side of the hotel, away from the road (light sleepers) and they were happy to help. Would recommend to anyone, great place to stay and fantastic location for walking, cycling etc"

"Lovely bedroom and bathroom. We were very warm and comfortable. Would suggest install a small handrail when going up the two steps into the bathroom would be a great help for the less able bodied. Really enjoyed being there and hope to return. "

"The warmest welcome, a spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished and decorated room, the food in the evening was exquisite, every staff member I spoke to was fantastic, the bar and lounge areas are super comfortable, and the breakfast clearly was made from top quality ingredients. Seriously I could not fault the place, superb all round."
