"This was, I think, my fifth time staying at Hotel 717, and every visit feels special. I have stayed in a different room each time, and this time I was on the main floor, which I loved because we were so close to the wonderful people who look after us, especially Giorgio and Patrick :) This stay, my daughter Lauren and I travelled from Canada to Amsterdam to meet our dear friends, another mother and daughter who flew in from Vienna. The four of us were there to see Harry Styles, and Hotel 717...

"Everything is perfect From check in to check out. The receptionist was very helpful in assisting us. The breakfast is good. The room is spacious, clean and the bed is very comfortable. "

"This hotel was a real find. Quiet with a homely feel. Perfect location in the museum quarter. The drinks and breakfast were a fabulous provision too. The room was cosy with the bathroom being a little unique with the small bath and over bath shower, but still added to the charm."

"We stayed in a Deluxe Room the Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium for 5 nights, and we were disappointed. They put us on a floor that was undergoing renovations (our hallway was covered in painting tape and had unfinished light fixtures), and our room had non-functional ventilation and sparse seemingly unfinished decoration. Our room also had no view (despite advertising a city view) and the bathroom was smaller than advertised. We raised all of this after one night, and mid-way through our stay...

"It was a great property and in an excellent location to all of the museums and sights I was going to see. I did have a little trek from the tram stop to the hotel, I came from the main train station & took the tram. It is a very safe location too, my friend from the area confirmed for me. Room was clean & it does have air conditioning which is awesome."

"This hotel is walking distance from the major museums in the area, which is a great plus. The hotel staff was hit or miss. We noticed that there were only one to two receptionists behind the desk even though at times there was a long line of people who were waiting. The office was right next door and you can hear the others in there just hanging out."
