The stairs are dangerously steep and lack basic safety features, making them a serious risk. To make matters worse, the bathroom door was broken and would not close, and there were no blinds or curtains on the windows, leaving zero privacy from the street. I did not use any facilities and left immediately. Avoid this place if you value your health and safety."

"The hotel was centrally located in Amsterdam, right by the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark. The room was very nice and the hotel was very clean. It had a bar and restaurant. The staff was very friendly. I only gave it a 4 because of the extra charges incurred at checkout. Due to VAT and city fees, we paid an extra $328 euros on checkout. A 3-night stay cost more than a 4-night stay in Paris at comparable hotels. "
