"Quiet peaceful location. Clean and comfortable room. Shower/bathroom set up was a little awkward. It felt like a hospital, but still useable and clean. Parking set up might need a little more “defined”, simply because several people took up multiple spots, even though it seemed like “white posts” were the markings. "What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables...
