pool was closed, this was the main reason we booked this place, and we received no advanced notice. Our son was very upset. We were told about a
public pool on the lake, which is lovely btw.
We were woken up both mornings by house keeping walking into the room early. They opened the door before I could even get out of bed! When I mentioned it on check out, the staff didn’t seem that shocked!

"The hotel were very accommodating. They upgraded our room to a Junior suite. And we had a bottle of red wine (Grenache) from their vineyard on the house. Which was a very good wine. Also by chance the
pool and spa was closed for maintenance on the days we were there. However they were very nice and let me use the sauna and steam room in the private spa that couples can book. "

"This was an amazing hotel in a beautiful location. We were here for a couple of days at the start of a longer European journey. This was the first stop after getting off a morning flight to Geneva. After we arrived by train from the airport, we arrived at the hotel early, so they took our bags and gave us some ideas on what to do that day. Our top things were the vineyard hike and the castle in Montreax. We received our complimentary pass and off for the day.
