Friendliest service I had in years.
Great and clean room. Old, charming building. Very good food , dinner and breakfast.
And - beautiful nature just outside the door.
I will come back with my wife !
Room was a nice size, wonderful view, comfortable chairs to look out the window to look at the view. Great selection for breakfast ranging from light fare to full cooked breakfast. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious and the presentation great.
Would certainly book again if I was visiting the area again
The room was a bit dated and small, but the hotel lobby, restaurant, bar and lounges were wonderful. One of the better breakfasts we had in Scotland. Staff was spectacular. Definitely recommend.
Nice enough hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. Food was good. Area around building was fine but next to public toilet and car park. Would consider for future stays

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This was an overnight stop from the Isle of Skye to the ferry at Cairnryan. No doubt the hotel is somewhat dated but what it made up for it with its great staff and lovely food (great pizzas for dinner and the full Scotch breakfast was perfect). Very dog friendly and has a few charging points for EV's. Nothing much else to do in Crainlarich unless you are going hiking. Would ahve no hesitation staying here again.
Staff and service were all excellent! They really welcomed us and our dog and couldn’t do enough for us. Unfortunately the room we were allocated was in a poor condition and was tiny! Really only suitable for 1 person l, not 2 plus a dog. Room very dated and not particularly clean and was nothing like the pictures on the website.
This really was our only gripe but meant that we did not sleep well enough. Otherwise the parking, food, area all great.
Staff was nice, surface areas were clean but a lot of dust, mould and gunk buildup in the corners of the bathroom and on the curtains. Carpet in the room was really old and stained. Shower was ancient and hard to moderate the temperature but bonus points that it was hot. The place desperately needs an update or at the very least, a deep cleaning. It’s labelled as a 3 star but presents more like a 2 star.
We broke up our journey to Skye by staying here for the night. We had evening meal snd breakfast which were both excellent. The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. We did book a double room but were given a twin but no big deal, the beds were very comfy so we didn’t mention it
Leuke, mooie Schotse accommodatie. Schone kamer met schone badkamer. Eten was heerlijk en super vriendelijk personeel.
Nice Scottish hotel. Clean room and bathroom. Diner and breakfast were great. The staff was very friendly.
Property is good, quiet, greeting staff was nice.
Disappointing breakfast experience when waitress forgot to place my order. Extra waiting time with reminding to other waiter that food was not served.
Hotel is older in need of repairs. Sheets not that clean, no extra blankets available and wall paper peeling off. Staff was nice, only hotel in area, restaurant was fair but overpriced.
The room had no air conditioning so was rather warm for sleeping. The view was poor, overlooking an embankment and flat roof.
The evening dinner was very good and exceeded expectations.
However, the breakfast was chaotic, despite having to specify a time the evening before. The cooked element took an age to be ordered and then cooked with staff not knowing what had been ordered by whom.
Old shabby hotel. Staff lovely couldn’t do enough.breakfast good. The electric charge points may not work. The hotel is very old run down and grubby. The rooms very small and smelt of urine. The bathroom very small dated and the door was almost like a cupboard! The whole place is passable if you had you to chose between sleeping in a tent or indoors however for £140 pound a night absolutely no way. Over priced old smelly bed sheets had stained on and holes!!!

Clean and available.
We got allocated a room backing onto the railway line overlooking the kitchens. Room a good size. 2 chairs and a small table. Iron and board. Newly fitted bathroom with shower. Dining area cold - no radiators and only one log burner on.
Cooked breakfast excellent. Poor choice of fruit - no choice really beyond a meagre fruit salad. No yoghurt or cakes etc. Poor quality bread. However a comfortable choice for one night.
