"I spent 30 days traveling in Paris and in Italy and this was by far the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I spent an entire afternoon just touring and learning the history of this hotel. The inside of the hotel is immaculate and full of history. the people are absolutely wonderful. I 100% would go here again and bring all my friends and family. They serve an excellent breakfast. Stores are nearby so pick up some bread and cheese and wine and enjoy the outdoor areas. Perfectly located if you want to hike or bike. be aware of the mosquitoes."

"Great historical property once times by Robert Browning. Located in a very beautiful hillside village. The views from the hotel garden are spectacular. There are some good cafes and restaurants walking distance. Cool bar. Very helpful staff, they arranged a great wine tasting experience for us. They were also helpful parking the car and with the luggage. Would definitely return."

"I have stayed here twice now whilst visiting Italy, and i love it. The room was huge and lovely. The staff were amazing and it is in a great location with restaurants and supermarkets near by. Very reasonably priced for what you get. I will be staying there again in 2027, you can count on that."

"A very charming and unique hotel. The staff are pleasant, but they seemed to be a bit short staffed, particularly on the week days. We only had breakfast one day because the selection was a bit limited and they were out of a couple things that were not replenished before we were done. I suspect that with more staff, they were better stocked on the weekend. We left on Saturday morning and there were more people at breakfast. The breakfast is quite inexpensive. I also have some concerns about the feral cats running around the property. My little Yorkie barked at one of them, so she came at us, fast! I picked him up to protect him, so she continued to run after me, trying to claw at my leg as I ran toward the door. Feral cats usually will not do this unless they have a neurological disorder or rabies, so be careful. Some guests were petting several and they were fine, but this one did not sit with the pack."
