"Room was overall clean enough for a germaphobe like me. Bed and pillows comfortable but my husband said the bed was too firm for him. The duvet needs to be changed out. They use two bed sheets to sandwich the duvet instead of a duvet cover so easy to see how old the duvet is and all the stains. Was crowded during the July 4th weekend. Pool was packed with kids. Pool is also small for this size hotel. I liked that the hotel is on the waterfront thus making it an ideal location to see fireworks. Within walking distance to convention center, Gas Lamp District and Petco Park. Parking was $55 for self parking. Many elevators so going up/down was fast. Gym was small but was clean and well equipped with free weights and machines."

"The pool and hot tub were great! It is nice they serve free coffee and creamer when the office is open (but not before it is or after it closes.) It was great having free parking for our car! The price was reasonable. (The shower dripped badly, which we reported as we checked out.) The hot tub could use some cleaning. The people staying above us and outside our room were making noise throughout the night and in early morning. IT WOULD HELP TO POST A QUIET POLICY FROM 10 PM- 7 AM as many hotels do and post it in the office and throughout the hotel grounds. Overall it was a good experience and reasonably priced."
