"Pub was ok, room dirty, dirty bedding and towels. No staff to complain to only bar staff who weren't really interested. Left after a few hours instead of staying the 2 n8ghts we had booked"

"The room was very clean and had been newly refurbished. We were a bit concerned that there were no contact details about what do in an emergency with no-one living on the premises. We only realised this on the last morning so couldn’t mention it to staff. I would normally speak to someone directly rather than on a public forum"

"Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby.
Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟"

"Quirky old building with low ceilings and original features. Unfortunately looking a bit tired and our bed had a broken slat in the middle making it pretty uncomfortable. Breakfasts and check in was great just needs new furniture. Also very close to Trebarwith strand, just check for low tide!!"

"Lovely stay in this friendly hotel on the waterfront.
Room very clean - though disappointed that all ones with sea view were booked. Only quibble would be no hook in shower room to hang clothes/towel.
Great breakfast to start the day!
Would stay again 😊"
"Loved staying in this hotel. There were so many amenities, and all the staff were super helpful. They went above and beyond for my fiancé’s birthday. Would definitely stay here again!"
"A lovely place in a beautiful setting with fab pool and spa areas.
We booked a premium room and for the price paid and considering the 4star rating I would have expected slippers to go with the bathrobes, a box of tissues in the bathroom and for the hospitality tray to be restocked daily. Small little things but noticeable as missing at that level."
"The rooms could do with some updating but they were clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel was relaxing and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were very nice. The hotel was very close to the train station and beaches. The hotel could benefit from the outside windows cleaning as they were full of bird poo and hard to see through . All in all a good comfortable stay."
"I have been to the Alverton several times but this was the first time we stayed here. It was a lovely sunny afternoon/evening and we had cocktails on the patio overlooking the lovely gardens. We had a standard room inside the hotel and it looks much better in situ than the website photos - a very comfortable stay. We were very pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with a bottle of frizzante on arrival."
