"We only stayed there for a night after seeing a play and I have to say it has exceeded our expectation greatly. The room is spacious. The bed is comfortable. And while it situated only a stone throw from Shakespeare's birthplace, it is very quiet. The in-the-room breakfast for a small fee is a very nice touch and we will definitely stay there again if we're in town. "

"Spotless warm cosy room on a cold Winters night. I like the chalet style rooms in the courtyard area which are dog friendly as you can just pop out to water the dog on the vast lawn area. Feels more like a “little house”. We had a huge bathroom in room 6, with a separate double shower cubicle and bath. Again lovely and warm radiator in bathroom. "Great Cotswold hotel: Pros: - beutiful/unique rooms - feeling of Cotswold house. - location - Great breakfast Cons: - Rooms are not well cleaned(full trash bin, coffee remnant on the cups) - Poor surrounding facilities and attractions. - the garden is not as impressive."

"Room has air con but it does not warm enough. We got a separate heater otherwise could not sleep for sure.Water pressure of shower is quite slow, no amendities provided in room such as cotton buds, shower cabs, sanitary bags. Good points are big room for family with 2 big sofa beds."
