"The hotel is very nice, room clean with a lovely view of the lake. Food and drinks in the bar were very good with a nice atmosphere The spa was very disappointing though as the pool was far too cold and most of the spa type features (jets etc) were not working. Also we mistakenly left an item in the room which the hotel staff told us was not handed in which is again very disappointing when staying at an upmarket hotel."

"Room was presentable & very clean. Staff were really lovely although breakfast was fairly slow the food was great. Bar was really nice. Would most def return!"

"Great hotel. Really clean, excellent staff and a wonderful room (classed as a superior room). Be aware there is no onsite parking but the team will point to local overnight parking, if a place on the street isn’t available. Despite this, definitely a visit again."

"Parking available at £10 per night The room and breakfast were fine. Bathroom design is very snug. More staff are needed but the staff there are very helpful and hard-working. I’ve started there are a few times for the different festivals. It’s a perfect location."

"We really enjoyed our brief stay.Such charming staff. My only question would be,please keep fresh milk in the room fridge,for tea in the morning. We would like to come back to stay in one of the thank4 bed lodges,overlooking the lake,next time."
