"Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot. "

"We booked for the secure parking as it was a stop off on our holiday trip, highly recommend if this is important for your trip. Parking and breakfast included in the price of the room too, making the stay a bargain. The 2 ladies serving Breakfast were brilliant and we left feeling very welcomed and positive due to their good spirit and hospitality, thankyou! We also ate in the pub on the evening and food was excellent with good portions. Would definitely stay again "
"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."
"Absolutely Brilliant! Quiet hotel, staff were really friendly and went above and beyond for us! Rooms so super clean and fresh! The only issue I found was that the room was HOT and being on the ground floor I couldn’t leave the window open as they have no safety catch! Food was superb and we will all be coming back again! "
"Ged our check in host organised our Checkin as we has multiple needs. Parking and shuttle To the airport in the morning. Easily organised with a smile and a joke in his pocket. The only thing that let our stay down was the air con not working in our room. On arrival we weren't informed of any issue, on opening our room we stepped into a very hot room with 3 fans going full blast - despite the work around the room was too hot and our it made our son feel poorly"
