"Arrived to find the place locked up and had to make a phone call for someone to come to the pub to give us our room key. Apparently there was a problem of having no electricity due to the heat. No evening meal available and no bar; breakfast was average, with some folk having to wait a long time for service. The place was clean and room was comfortable."

"The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils and has a peaceful view of the garden and the meadows beyond. "Self check-in failed to work. Had to wait for a staff member to do everything again in order to print keycard correctly, what a waste of time. Room stifling hot and windows didn’t open. One window pane appeared to be missing from the two layers which should’ve been present - leading to road noise being very evident throughout the night. Bath and sink drains both blocked and then stank of sewerage soon after. Overall, and appalling place to stay."

"Check-in was quick and simple. Clean and spacious room with a good walk-in shower. However, the TV kept losing its signal which was rather annoying. Breakfast is a hot and cold self-serve buffet. The evening menu has a good variety of choices. On-site parking is limited and was full by about 16:00 on the two nights we stayed."
