Very nice place great location. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent lots of choice including breakfast options.
Room was spacious but think it maybe a little warm in summer months as no air conditioning. Overall stay excellent will definitely return and recommend to friends
A superb ‘set up’. Part of the Chestnut group. So very excellent in every way
Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. I shall be recommending!
We arrived at the hotel in the middle of storm Henk which was quite stressful but the staff were very welcoming. 15 mins later the whole village lost power. Although we weren’t able to get a cooked meal they produced a delicious charcuterie board by candlelight. The staff were upbeat despite the situation. The room was very comfortable and we would definitely stay again.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Won't hurry back
Very underwhelming considering what we paid. Issues with heating when arrived, were resolved within an hour. Initial booking was showing as single occupier, had phoned / emailed with an update to make it 2 people but had not been picked up. Breakfast selection was very limited, table half empty, initially no pastries, Juices etc and had to wait 45 minutes for a cooked breakfast.
We had a really lovely stay at The Crown Inn. The room was spacious, clean, and bed very comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant and it was excellent and the service was great.
Amazing pub and accommodation, friendly and clean, just felt a little uncomfortable hauling luggage through people eating at tables. However, such warmth and friendliness from start to finish and every person we met is invested in the comfort and experience of their guest's
The Crown scores highly in all it offers: location, spacious and comfortable rooms, beautiful setting, easy parking, good food and friendly customer service.
My wife and I happily recommend The Crown to anyone looking for a qualify overnight stay in a country setting at a fair price.
