"The room was clean and had everything we needed"

"Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return."

The pub is a great, friendly place to spend the evening and the fact that they serve food is a bonus if you don't want to go out. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again."

"Nice large bedroom with view Good location"

"Really nice relaxing place"

"A well located inn for visiting central Bowness-on-Windermere. Plenty of parking options around."

"Parking was good and breakfast really nice."

"Room was nice but the walls are very thin and we were woken up by late night arrivals on both nights who has some drinks in them. Staff were lovely and breakfast was great. "Lovely clean room, fantastic staff, really helpful and attentive and friendly definitely be back."

"Great apartment, would highly recommend!"

"Great location and friendly staff. Some of the decor could do with updating and the shower was unusually complex to use. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and I would recommend."

"Stunning guest house, absolutely spotless. Would definitely recommend, and also stay again."
