It was the perfect location to have a retreat away from the chaos of the busier Amalfi coast towns (like Positano or Amalfi) but be close enough to only be a quick ferry or bus ride from anything you wanted to see...

"The Hotel San Francesco is a beautiful property located across the main drive in Maiori from the bay. Our room was large and the bathroom and shower were fantastic. I would suggest a room with view of the Mediterranean Sea on the 3rd floor or higher. The staff are professional and friendly and there are many excellent restaurants in walking distance. The main beach view street in Maiori is absolutely charming and the water taxi service to Amalfi is super fun and runs like clockwork. We highly...
