"The accomodation was clean and tidy with basics of tea/coffee/television and basic toiletries in the bathroom. Food was available within the main building and was "usual" pub fare, generous portions and for the area was reasonably priced. Would I stay there again?, if in the area and needed accom.. then YES I would book again."

"Was placed in room 3, 2nd floor. Which had a double and single and sofa bed. Also had a small kitchen area with a fridge freezer. Bathroom had a bath with a shower. Shower was very powerful. Room was basic but clean and everything I needed for 2 nights. I was female staying on my own. Felt safe. The only let down I saw was the communal stairs reallyed needed a good vacuum. Carpark was large and plenty of space and free of charge."

"Very old property but nice character, however, needs serious renovation. We ate there and the meals were nice. Staff were friendly and amazingly patient and helpful. Check in was a little frustrating as you are trying to fill in the registration form and at the same time being given information, which you struggle to take in, would make more sense to give you a piece of paper with all the hotel information to read at your leisure. "
